Welcome to Sweetbearies Art Tips.
I am a blogger that enjoys sharing my insights on different arts and crafts projects. As you can see I love to paint,
draw, take pictures, cross stitch, create jewelry, and many other crafts under the sun. Stay a bit and get to know my
website a bit if you would like. Also, you can join me over on Hubpages, if you would like to read more of my writings.
Nominate Hubpages As The Best Site For Online Publishing
I love to publish hubs on crafting as you know, but one thing
I would also like to share is that Hubpages is one of the best places to publish on any topic. Please do me the honor
of nominating Hubpages as the best site for publishing because it truly is! If you have never published on Hubpages
you can start today!
Here is the pretty necklace that I repaired the other
day. The poor necklace broke a few weeks back, but I finally decided to restring it with some extra durable beading
wire. So whenever one of your hand strung necklaces breaks do not fret, and remember you can always restring it with
more resilient beading wire.
Today I am so excited because I finally finished
my Bobby cat drawing. I decided to give this drawing a painted look by painting mod podge across the surface. Of course I laid down
newspaper to protect my table because I would have to get mod podge on it. Most people use mod podge to seal puzzles
or to afix items to mugs, but I discovered that it gave my drawings a painted like effect. Ever since I have been spread
mod podge across the surface of many of my paintings.
Here is my cute Bobby cat drawing that
started out as a trick-or-treat craft bag, but unfortunately I did not finish it on time for Halloween. Now I am modifiying
my picture and turning it into an everyday portrait of my beloved cat Bobby, which I will frame upon completion.
I enjoy drawing, painting, woodburning, and many other artistic
activities. I will be discussing my various projects, favorite books, and other opinions on this blog.
This is a drawing of an American bear I made in 2003. I created
him by using simple colored pencils and keeping my eyes on the subject more than on the paper. One of the best art tips
I can give you is the keep your eyes on the subject and not on the paper, which will help you to learn how to draw more quickly.
